If you’re here because you have experienced (or are about to experience) the loss of your baby during pregnancy, I am truly so sorry to be meeting you here. As somebody who has walked your path, twice, know that I believe you when you express how painful this feels. Whilst not everybody who experiences a pregnancy loss grieves deeply (there is no “normal” way to feel when it comes to loss), many do.
This educational resource is designed for the deep grievers, the grievers who are wondering : “what on earth do I do now?”. The grievers who may have experienced a loss, and perhaps were provided with nothing more than some sanitary pads and a fact sheet on statistics related to loss.
Whilst this resource is not designed or intended to be a replacement for individualised mental health assessment or care, I hope that it can represent an educational and validating support for your emotional wellbeing as you grieve this very significant loss. You will also find a directory to other resources within this guide, to point you in the right direction if you are needing more.
If you’re here because you are a healthcare provider, wanting to support a patient, thank you. The fact that you have arrived at this page with a patient in mind, tells me that they are very lucky to have your thoughtful care and support. A little goes a long way when it comes to supporting somebody through a loss, and grievers often remember long into the future, who they felt supported by.
Currently, this resource is available as a FREE download. You are welcome to download and circulate this to whomever you wish.
If you would like to use any aspect of this resource in the creation or circulation of your own content, I would only ask that you please credit me for my work by either tagging me on social media, or listing my full name and profession. This will help me to reach more grievers needing support, and will also provide me with a sense of support as many months of thought and heart have gone into the creation of this resource.

Pregnancy Loss Guide
Being the first iteration of this guide, I am aware that there will likely be imperfections and scope for improvement. If there are any topics not covered here, or if you have any feedback at all regarding how it could be more supportive - I would encourage you to pass this onto me at contact@drbiancamastromanno.com.au.
